Best time to visit in Bhutan

The ideal time to visit Bhutan is undoubtedly from late October until December, since the skies are clear, the air is fresh, and the views are spectacular! This time of year is perfect for trekking, sightseeing, and experiencing Bhutan’s wonderful autumn festivals!

January and February are the coldest months of the year and the coldest places tend to be in higher altitudes, but, apart from the cold nights, the days tend to be sunny and clear! So while you’ll see fewer tourists, you’ll have peaceful sights with the snow-covered landscapes and bare trees.

March and April are warm months, when the weather is dry, a nice time of year to travel. Spring is a good time to enjoy the colorful blooming of Bhutan’s remarkable rhododendrons, as valley floors become a dazzling display of color.

In May, the temperatures and humidity start to climb, from June to September is the monsoon season, which brings heavier rains and mist to the mountains. Although this is not a favored time, many hiker’s used to, and some still do, hike this time of year; lush green scenery is an enjoyable scene to capture even in rain and mist.

Earlier in the year, about late October to early February is good if you are a birdwatcher since now, the black-necked cranes can be viewed on the phobjikha valley, which should be a highlight of the trip for wild live enthusiasts.

There is a charms to every season in Bhutan; therefore, the best time to visit is really based on the experiences you are interested in or are fond of!

We just returned from a 12-day Luxury Thailand Tours journey organised by Stephen. He did a great job planning the trip and keeping in touch throughout the process. He arranged the flights, transfers, and several wonderful places to stay, including a boutique hotel in Bangkok, a resort in Chiang Mai, and a beachfront hotel in Phuket. He also organised several day tours and restaurant recommendations along the way.

This place is honest. They talk about the elephants history. And let’s face it... we all know how they get broke. We started off by walking through the sad and beautiful past of these Elephants, which allows you to feel connected with them. We are shown the lifestyle they life today in a environment where loving friends and family get to spend quality time with these animals. We made medicine for their skin from natural plants
